Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Parking is plentiful. Students will never face the common campus dilemma of searching for a spot—there's more than enough. Parking on the residential side of campus varies in proximity to certain dorms, but students quickly find what's most convenient for them.

Having an official "State of Florida NCF" license plate entitles a student to receive a free parking permit, even though parking permits are relatively inexpensive. There are parking lots adjacent to every major area, including dorms, classrooms, and the library. Many off-campus students choose to go the eco-friendly route by riding bikes rather than driving, which contributes to plentiful open parking spaces.

More Parking

Although New college is a small school, freshmans can have cars. THis is unusal at most colleges. The parking lot is very small, maybe 150 spots.Parking is free which is wonderful. Also the campus is very small. I brought a bike with me and never even used it because it takes no more then 12 minutes to get to opposite sides of the campus.

I Don't Have a Car

I don't have a car, but I know there are complaints about the price and availability. However, thinking about larger schools, I'm sure parking is much cheaper and closer to dorms than at other schools. ~$65 for a year long pass. And there are enough spots, it just sometimes requires so walking.

Parking Is Fine, I Guess?

I forget what I payed for my parking permit, but I remember it seemed average. There is a lot of parking on campus, and I think that a car is completely unnecessary unless you plan on driving out of town or something. Pretty much everything in town is within biking distance and I much prefer to bike around than drive.
