There are times where the network will go down, but that lasts for only an hour at the most.

There is not a lot of variety in majors, mostly because it is an engineering college but the engineering program here is second to none.

The academics here are incredibly rigorous, but if you can make it here it is almost guaranteed that you will get a good job.

A lot of the structures are rather old, but renovations have been made and overall, I cannot really complain.

Overall I have not had any problems with the food here. I have heard stories of people getting food poisoning here but those are few and far between and could be attributed to something else.

While there may not be very much variety, the off-campus dining is still very good.
College Senior 2013-11-05T18:40:29Z
I have not had any problems with campus police. So long as you respect the law, campus police will not give you any trouble.

I am not aware of what the Greek life is like here.
College Senior 2013-11-05T18:37:39Z
Since it is a small town, there is not really very much to do but there are some things to be done.
College Senior 2013-11-05T18:35:01Z
The curriculum has been taxing but rewarding. Overall I have had a wonderful experience here.

There are clubs and organizations for just about everyone who is of a minority in one form or another.

The class load and difficulty here is extreme but if you are able to make it through it is one of the best places to get a degree.

I have not had an internship, but I do plan on applying for one. The overall availability of internships is great here.

Overall I have had no real problems with the dorm rooms. While there are some that are a little older than others overall the situation is good.

As small as the town is, there are only a few bars available and that is it. The only other option for night life is to go about an hour and a half north to Albuquerque.

I have never seen any rampant drug use at my college and have only heard about it.

Some of the professors here are not very good. But a lot of the instructors (usually grad students in your field) are very well educated and can relay the material to you very very well. Workload is not very difficult. It keeps you busy, but it is not very overwhelming.
College Freshman 2013-11-05T04:21:12Z
There are a lot of classes and opportunities for extra-curricular activities. There are also a lot of people and professors that are included in the real-world of your future occupation and you can ask them to help you or include you in their research.

Very easy to find food off campus late at night and not very expensive.

I still need to apply for financial aid. I do not know how much money I am going to need for next semester.

Our college doesn't need any public transportation because the town is so small and you can walk pretty much everywhere.

Right now, while you are looking at schools, you may think that a fifth year or spending some of your summer at school is weird, but trust me, I would not change anything in my program! Plus, being in New Mexico allows hands-on learning at canyons, hiking, and other cultural attractions.

Parking on campus can be a nightmare. Be sure to get to campus at least at 8.30 in the morning before your class to ensure you'll get a space and make it to class on time. As a freshman, you get the worst parking.
