There are people from all over the world that come to NMMI. Theres cadets from Poland, Mexico, Ireland, Germany, Makarska, Afghanistan as well as other states of the country such as Texas, California, Colorado, Arizona, etc. There's many clubs for all kind of people for both male and female. As a cadet here at NMMI I can honestly say that I have made the best friends I could ever met or have. I live with them and gotten to know a lot of people. We are all very close, we workout together, study together, suffer together and laugh together. I will never forget my two years at NMMI.

Had to put this under student body, this is a warning.
DO NOT ATTEND. If you are wanting to go to another military school find one besides NMMI. To quote a friend who is in ROTC here and was prior enlisted. "This place combines all the corruptness and BS of the Army that only happens 3-4% of the time and is 100% of the time. The rapes, cover ups, etc are all here and they don't care." The 48% student retention is a true estimate, maybe even high. And the ones who do return absolutely hate this school. This is a 4 year high school and 2 year JC. One of my friends who is in his 5th year at NMMI said these have been the worst 5 years of his life.

There are some kids of drug lords here. The officers and NCOs from Dow Hall (ROTC building) even complain about it. The school is incredibly corrupt because they have a biased towards them because they donate a ton of money. Either you are incredibly strict and strait edge here or just don't care. They will make you march if you don't give respect towards these hypocrites that destroy everything the school is supposed to stand for.

Lots of white kids, Mexicans from Mexico, and Black football players. Three groups make up the three main groups of NMMI, but they usually leave each other alone. There are a few international students here and there but they assimilate into one of the three groups

Most of the students here at the institute are hard-working individuals that are here to make the best of their education. The militaristic nature of the institute helps keep strong structure and high moral amongst the corps of cadets and it can be seen through their efforts not only in their academics but as well as their participation in sports and other student-oriented activities!
Sorry, there are no reviews.
