Yeah, There's Drugs. At parties there is always coke and stuff. But for the most part it's just alcohol.

Health & Safety:
Could Be Better – It's not NYU's fault- it's the fact that it's located in such a crime-riddled city. The campus isn't super-scary, though.

The City! NYC, the city that never sleeps. Going to school here is always an adventure- with so many different types of people, and there's always events to go to...never boring.

Guys & Girls:
Interesting, Diverse Students – The students here are all over the spectrum- in terms of style, ethnicity, interests, and majors. There's a large population of artsy kids, which is cool but some are pretentious. Most people are attractive, and well-dressed.

Diversity is common place here. Diversity is part of the New York University atmosphere.

It is very interesting to be Biology major in an area that is very inclined to the arts. There is however loads of internship and research opportunities here.

I don't drive, but if I did I the parking would be bad.

West Village Area – The whole West Village has great restaurants with reasonable prices. The food is good too.

Love It – My school has so much to offer. I've met so many interesting people and visited many interesting city parks, museums, etc. NYU is unique because it does not have the traditional campus setting, we are part of the city. I've seen some famous people walking down the street. I would choose NYU again because I'm getting an excellent education, learning to live on my own, meeting many new people and discovering New York city life.

Love It – Love it in New York City while I am going to college. I have access to so much and there are many activities to do. I plan to get involved in many clubs and activities and meet even more students from around the world.

A wide variety of different dorms, some good, a few old, but overall solid.

Great Campus Activities – There is always something to do in a city that has something for everyone. NYU compliments the city by offering students just as wide of a variety of programs and activities.

Good If You Like Seasons – If you enjoy the weather not always being sunny and 80 degrees NY rarely gets outrageously hot or cold.

For a drama student there is no beating being right in the city with all the amazing theatre and audition opportunites, and the guest artist we get at school, and even the year round staff. The best of the best are here.

The experience at my drama studio that is affliated with NYU is amazing! I have taken some good classes through the univeristy, mainly the Tisch topics courses where I got to travel to South Africa and Turkey. The teachers are great, but dealing with places like the bursar and registrar and financial aid are a huge pain is the ass because of the amount of students so they really don't seem to care about individuals.

You can find someone from just about anywhere in the world at this school. It is culturaly, religiously, ethnically diverse. There are more girls than guys though.

The subway is a great way to get pretty much anywhere. If a subway doesn't go there, there is probably a bus. There are also cabs if you feel like paying for them. The major downfall is the price of any form of transportation outside of walking.

Its New York. There is something for everyone. Theatre, Music, Sports, Comedy, or just walking around. The only downfall is not much nature.

Never Really Use – There a quite a few labs around with internet access and printing. I never really use them unless I happen to be hanging around an area for a bit and want to quickly check my email. And the printing is good if I ever have to print out a lot of stuff. They have a 500 page limit now before we start having to pay, which I've never gone over but I know some people that have. The main free printing lab is eally crowded if you go at the wrong time but sometimes it is realatively empty.

Guys & Girls:
Lots of People Most Are Really Nice – I dont really know what to say except there are tons of activities/places to meet people and most people are nice.
Recent Alumnus 2010-09-07T15:59:43Z
Great! Tons of Options – There are so many places nearby that are really good! You can find cheap everyday places and some that are a little more but well worth it. NYC has amazing restaurants so it is worth exploring a bit and trying new places often.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
