The NYU Student Health Center offers all forms of birth control, from pills and patches to shots and free condoms. As long as you either have an exam at the health center or send your personal records to them, you can have prescriptions filled at the campus pharmacy. Prices depend on the type of method you choose. Emergency contraception is also available free of charge.

Social Scene
Pretty much every type of personality is represented at NYU, so once you become situated, it shouldn't be hard to find your own group. Once you've bypassed that initial obstacle, there are a lot of fun-loving partiers to be found at NYU. Or if you're more of the study group social butterfly, there are plenty of intellectuals to discuss theories with. In fact, many of the students at NYU love to hear themselves talk, so there is never a shortage of stimulating conversation.
Hookups or Relationships?
The girls at NYU often find themselves frustrated with the lack of straight guys, and thus, venture into the wilds of NYC or other universities to find a mate. Some are in relationships, but a lot of girls commiserate over the lack of guys and date around.
