I have a driver's license and I'm a second year student at NYU. I can guarantee a lot of people at NYU, including professors and other important staff, drive. It's likely very few drive TO NYU, the majority take public transportation. =)
That is very true. Driving in the Big Apple is some-what difficult. I apologize for coming off as standoffish. Public Transportation is very effective and much more efficient on a global and citywide scale.
Does it depend where they live?
i think in order to get where you want to go r need to be you will have to use any transportation to accomplish something that is maybe worth living
there are three freshman dorms, goddard, weinstein, and hayden, that are really close to most classes, so its a quick walk. The other freshman dorms are like a ten minute walk but there are shuttles available!
