Parking is quite the issue at North Carolina A&T. Finding a spot on campus is extremely difficult and can even spark disagreements. In order to find a decent space before class, you must start searching for a spot at least 30 minutes in advance. The most popular lots are beside the Memorial Student Union, McNair Hall, and behind Holland Hall near Williams Cafeteria. Freshmen are not allowed bring cars during their first semester at NC A&T. They are only allowed to bring a car during their second semester, but their grade-point average must be 3.2 or higher. In order for anyone to park on campus, they have to purchase a parking permit from Parking Services, which is located in the parking deck. These permits are expensive, but if you do not have one, you will be ticketed or towed if you park on campus. Overall, the parking services at A&T are in need of major improvements.
