The campus of NC State is strict, but adequate freedom is given to the students.

Nightlife is generally gear to students who are 21 and older, however living in Raleigh you are so close to the city that you have many options some being 18 and older clubs. Another option other than the clubs and bars downtown is greek life. "Greekcourt" is located on campus and tons of things are always going on there. If you want to experience nightlife in the safest way I would say take a taxi to the city of become greek so that these organizations have your best interest in mind!

Psychology at North Carolina State University is a rather enjoyable major. The workload isn't excruciating and the teachers are all very knowledgeable. Students also have tons of opportunities to get involved in research and experiments in the psychology program. They also are more than willing to help with networking and finding people to better help you become an experienced student.

As a psychology major I have learned a lot by volunteering in labs, and taking research classes. However what I also found is that I am more interested in the science portion of the major. I now want to focus on double majoring in psychology and biology. Volunteering in scientific labs is usually paid however sometimes it's class credit, both are a plus as I move towards graduation!

There are lots of very nice apts. near the college campus. Most of them are moderately priced and furnished which is very helpful.

It's got a fun downtown and we are also close to Chapel Hill and Franklin St. is a lot of fun. There are a lot of activities to participate at NCSU. The mall is pretty close from campus, about a 15 minute drive.

I am in CHASS at NCSU majoring in Psychology. I like it most of the time but there are a few things I would change. All of my classes have been really large (100+ students). This is not the ideal way for me to learn. Other than that my classes have been interesting and the workload is average.

Transportation around NCSU is pretty good. The Wolfline runs every day and does go downtown, although it is not always on time. This survice is free to everyone, not just NCSU students.

The computers are all up to date. There are printing stores all over campus where you are able to go and print papers if you do not have a printer. The network connection covers the whole campus and is fast. There is not a need for personal computers because you are able to rent them however, I recommend having a computer.

The campus is strict about the school policies. The honor code is strictly inforced along with under age drinking.

I came here because I was given a large amount of financial aid. However the cost of tuition has gone up so much since I've been here that the aid isnt as helpful as it once was.

There are a lot of cheap and delicious places within walking distance of campus.
College Senior 2013-02-04T20:07:23Z
There is no free parking for students and the closer the as you get closer to main buildings the parking passes get more expensive

My school provides free gym memberships, yoga, pilates, and kick boxing classes etc available. There are dining halls located near all of the dorms and places to eat near Lecture buildings. The education is wonderful. Classes range from hundreds of students to just a few people. the professors are helpful and really care about the students. There are always events happening on campus. The sports games are always fun to attend and there are tons of clubs to get involved in. There are internships, volunteering and tutoring positions available. Overall, I love my school.

The dining hall food is HORRIBLE avoid eating there if you can. The atrium and Talley have good food, it's just a little more expensive.

I am very happy with my program, this school has great professors in this field so I feel like I'm getting the best education possible. Most people in my major are on a pre-vet track but I plan on going on to get a master's degree and hopefully finding a job in a zoo.

I started in FYC so at the end of my first year I matriculated into my current major. My adviser walked me through the entire process so it was very simple. I had no trouble being accepted into my program.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
