On-campus parking is more for car storage since most campus car lots are designated per dormitory, and the cheap ones that aren't related to dorms are very inconveniently placed, and you'll need to take the bus from the lot to get anywhere near campus. Furthermore, you can only purchase a pass for convenient lots like the Coliseum and Dan Allen decks if you have credits equal to that of a junior or senior. The pay-per-hour decks, beneath the aforementioned lots, are $1.00 per hour and can get pricey if you're driving in every day. Your best bet is to park on Hillsborough Street or one of the surrounding streets behind it and tend to the meter every two hours. It's a little more of a hassle if your classes aren't close to Hillsborough, but it's much cheaper overall.
