North Carolina State University Diversity had a new discussion posted by amnesty11

You will be perfectly fine. NCSU is a very diverse campus with near 40,000 students in attendance. A good couple thousand are international students.

Yeah most of us are from NC, but people won't be closed off to you if you're not. They might actually find you a bit more interesting because you're NOT from NC. And you won't be the only one from out of the state. I agree with the above comment.

Most students/people in "the Triangle-Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill" are not "from" NC, anyway. You will find diversity.

North Carolina State University Campus Housing had a new discussion posted by KD1995

Lee Hall is a solid dorm as you meet other freshman, and the hall is located in a very vibrant part of campus. The trek to class is not very long.

I liked it very much and I considered it a very beneficial preparatory program prior to my entrance to State. I took a class or two, gained solid friendships I still own today, and familiarized myself with the ins-and-outs of the campus!

Did it feel overwhelming to have to take the classes in ashorter time?

Good question. I am enrolled in the Summer Start, too. Hope to meet you there.

Yes, the Greenway Trail is near campus.

There are a few. We are in a city, so if you want mountain biking/hiking trails you should probably go to WCU or ASU in the mountains.

I'm not sure about the answer to your question, but the deadline to apply for this fall has passed.

I applied Nov. 21, but sent my fee on Apr. 4? Will they still take that??!

I'm not sure, I don't think so because everyone heard back about admission at the latest April 1st. But I would call the admissions office.

Alright, thank you!
