Drugs do not seem prevalent at NCSU. Alcohol consumption is more of an issue than drugs. Like anywhere else, you will have a bad egg in the group, and those who are addicted to drugs are somewhat easy to pick out of a crowd just by appearance. You won't hear of any underground drug trafficking here, nor is there much hardcore drug use. At parties, you will have your occasional pot smoker, but this, again, will depend on the type of crowd.

There is no heavy pressure to partake in drug use. It is easy to steer clear of drugs on and off campus. To get involved, it almost seems as if you would have to do research to figure out where to get any, or who even does drugs.
