Off-campus housing is more convenient than ever now. There are even some complexes owned by the University, like Wolf Village. The dilemmas of living off campus have been minimized, as many places now offer transportation to campus. Apartment complexes like University House and Wolf Creek have their own bus system which shuttles students to main campus. This service is beneficial because it eliminates the cost of a parking pass, but most importantly, it rids those students of parking stress. Living off campus also gives students their own living space-and the lack of privacy is by far the number one drawback of living on campus. Most complexes are nice, and if there is not a shuttle available, students can often find a place in walking distance of the Wolfline, like Kensington Park. Once again, this helps avoiding a significant dip in their bank account, and leaves stress for homework. A major inconvenience of living off campus, though, is finding places for visitors to park. Most complexes are strict about displaying the car's parking permit. Visitor spots are available, but it seems like there are never enough on the weekends or on game days. Towing companies usually prominently post their number for your convenience, and you can call them and get directions to where your car is. Yes, you have to go to them, and you usually have to pay $100 cash up front in order to get the car back.
