Sometimes you have to park very far away from where you live. Parking prices are also very high.

There is no free parking for students and the closer the as you get closer to main buildings the parking passes get more expensive

For me at avent ferry, I can park right next to my dorm with ease, for only 200 bucks/year

How far is avent ferry from Pullen and Hillsborough?

is avent ferry a good place to stay on-campus if your going to the college of textiles?

avent ferry is farther away from pullen and hillsborough than most other dorms, its definitely a hike. And if you're a freshman it doesnt matter where you stay you wont be doing anything in that college for a whole extra year.
