There is a lot of diversity in different buildings.

There are many programs and places on campus that are in support of and promote diversity on campus.

A majority of the students on campus are caucasian and of christian affiliation. There are a few other ethnicities and religions, but the majority is pretty dominant and coming to college I was hoping for more diversity and cultural difference.

NDSU is a very successful school in diversity. They have great programs to recruit international students from all over the world. There are many students from the middle east, Africa, Europe, and Asia. There is also an office for Multicultural Programs which works to make these students feel more comfortable on campus and help them get involved. I actually led a retreat just a couple weeks back for international students, where they shared their challenges and many of them said it is hard to make American friends. Diversity also includes sexual orientation, which is growing in diversity through our campus. Along with that, there are many strong different political beliefs through the campus.

NDSU is not the most diverse school you'll find, by far. That doesn't make it barren of culture, mind. It is somewhat unfortunate that a fair number of cultural stereotypes hold true here but, so far as I can tell, the general population is fairly accepting of diversity.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
