Student complaints about Northeastern are generally the same complaints students have anywhere else: the advisors don’t care enough, people slack off in their jobs, etc. Like any school, Northeastern has its setbacks, but these are easy to overlook, given the many advantages the University has to offer.
The city of Boston offers an unparalleled experience for students. The Northeastern faculty is among the best you’ll find anywhere, and student life on campus is fun and vibrant. Students may take issue with trivial matters here and there—parking’s hard to find, the University can be too strict—but it’s unlikely you’ll find anyone who feels that Boston is boring, or that the University doesn’t prepare students for post-college life. When it comes down to it, most students are happy to be here.
