Very Exciting and Lots of Opportunities

I love going to school at Northeastern University in Boston. It is a vibrant city with lots of options and things to do. It's not too big or too small. Although some things can get a little expensive, there are always opportunities to do something! It is a student friendly environment with bars, clubs, shows, shopping, sports teams, and plenty of other activities! The campus environment itself offers a little less in the ways of doing things, but there are always events going on. As a member of Greek Life, I always feel like there are events going on. I would like it if there was a little more school pride on campus with regards to sporting events and overall attitude to get involved. But overall, Boston and Northeastern offers a great college atmosphere!

Everything Is 21+

Unless you feel like going to the movies every night, if you're not 21 you're probably not going anywhere. Bars, clubs, some pubs, and even bowling alleys have a very strict 21+ policy. Don't get caught with a fake ID anywhere near campus, it will come back to school authorities. Also, be very careful when attending parties if you're under 21, or if you're hosting a party for underaged students. If your party gets busted, you can get in serious trouble with the school. Select comedy clubs are 18+, I've always found them to be a fun and inexpensive Boston outing.

If you are 21+, the nightlife is great. There's a bar at every street corner, and you can be sure to catch a Red Sox, Celtics, Patriots, or Bruins game in any 1 of them. The best bars and clubs are by Fenway park, State Street, and the theater district. The best house parties are right off campus, and at BU and MIT.

I'm in College of Science and I want experience in a research lab. Recently I got into one so I'm excited and grateful for the opportunity to gain 1st hand experience and actually carry out lab work.
