Depends on which side of campus you live on. If you live in Roxbury area, it can be dangerous and there is a frequent amount of violence from the neighborhoods behind. None that has affected the students that live there, so a lot of students still live there. Huntington Avenue side of campus is pretty safe, has a better living environment and closer to the nice gym, newbury street, boylston, and the shopping areas.
