There is a great health center if you need it. The administration works hard to keep everyone healthy. They send out alerts if there is some sort of flu or cold outbreak, and remind students to wash hands, get flu shots (which are free!), etc. Campus is pretty safe. Police are accessible if you need them, but not overly in your face. NU is a pretty lenient campus about alcohol and drugs, too.
