but I feel even if you're used to sunny weather you could get used to the freezing cold??? are the rooms heated enough so that after awhile you feel hot?
I'm from New England so I'm used to the cold, and every dorm has heat. Outside isn't that pleasant though.

The weather in Boston is certainly nothing to brag about. The summer months are nice and warm, but the winter months are freezing and full of snow. While the low temperatures are not necessarily enjoyable, there are a few good things about going to school in Boston during the wintertime. First of all, snow and ice in the city make for a difficult commute, and it can be very dangerous for students walking to class. This means there is a good amount of snow days for Northeastern students. The winter months also allow for fun activities like ice skating on Frog Pond or the Christmas tree lighting in the Boston Commons.
Fall and spring seasons in Boston are relatively comfortable and really show off the city's beauty. It does seem to rain a lot in Boston, but Northeastern provides underground tunnels that transport you around campus so you can avoid getting wet. If you don't mind the cold and enjoy a change in seasons, you won't mind Boston's weather much at all.
