The dorms at Northern are pretty nice and each hall feels like a home away from home to the students that live there. Four of the ten residence halls have been renovated and those dorms are really nice.

They're in the process of renovating all the dorms. The renovated dorms are what I live in, otherwise all the other dorms have asbestos and are run down. Also, noise is a HUGE issue so if you're living on campus expect it and accept it. We all had to deal with it.

The dorms are great! The newest dorm buildings are of really good quality. Students typically enjoy being in the dorms. It is a suite style, so there are two rooms connected with a bathroom. Four people of the same gender share a bathroom. There are also upperclassmen apartments that are of great quality as well. It is fairly expensive to live on campus, however.

The dorms are not the greatest but, I like to avoid the new dorms and stick with the older ones that are right in the heart of campus.

The housing at Northern is wonderful. The rooms themselves are of a decent size and have few damages, and if any damages occur during the year they will definitely be fixed within a reasonable time. The RAs are always open and friendly and ready to answer any questions you may have, and are always trying to get you involved in house activities. The friendliness of the environment played a huge part in getting me involved in my school and making friends during my first year. I couldn't imagine having more fun during my first year of college than I did there, and not only that, but I believe my academics were well supported since everyone was ready to help whenever I needed it and good study habits were actively protected in my academic hall.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
