What aditional things are there to do there?
At NMU you are able to do anything outdoors and be a part of any club or activity you would like. My friends and I have gone camping many times, gone cliff jumping into Lake Superior, had beach bonfires, went skiing and snowboarding, and gone out on the town to party. Many of my friends have been a part of every club and activity possible. This town is a college town too, so there are always parties (we have Campus PD the TV show come up here once a month).
Well it is right on Lake Superior, so there are all the benefits of being right next to the largest freshwater lake in the U.S. Plenty of mountains and hiking trails. Marquette is also one of the country's most bike-accessible cities.
Cliff jumping off of black rocks on Presque Isle is a crowd favorite. The natural environment of in Marquette is perfect for any outdoors enthusiast.
Hike mountains, enjoy superior, swimming, kayaking, there's tons of nature stuff to enjoy!
