It seems pretty diverse. One thing I have noticed these past couple of weeks is that there is a very high number of religious people and that's perfectly okay, but I don't "advertise" for any religion and I would like it more if people kept it on the down low. Like, I know you're religious and that's great, but don't try to preach to me. I know what's right and wrong. I don't want or need someone to try to force me into anything. I can find myself spiritual on my own.

Never have I seen as much acceptance towards people of all races, backgrounds, gender, and sexual orientation ever in my life. Northern Michigan University welcomes what I presume to be the most openhearted, kind and caring people who would be willing to come up to you and help you at anytime. I've visited many times over the past year and I knew instantly from that first visit that I wanted to go to school here and become a part of the vibrant welcoming community.

I hope you like white people, because that's all there is up here. Some political diversity, and diversity among sexual orientations is present, but it is most certainly not prevalent. Most students come here from poor backgrounds, and many come from religious backgrounds as well.
There is a significant amount of rednecks here.

This campus gets and A+ on diversity. We have people of every age, gender, size, color, sexual orientation, political view, religion, and economic background you can think of.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
