I don't feel like there are any extraordinary qualities or features that are offered here that make it great. I haven't ever seen any study groups, heard of anyone starting a study group, and most students I know just go to class and leave when it is over, they don't make friends in class or stay to socialize afterwards. There doesn't seem to be any real sense of school spirit or excitement about attending this school. I haven't ever heard of any functions to bring students together or help students feel excited about going to this school.

I find the curriculum to be relevant to the course. The professors in class are approachable and have always gone above and beyond to answer any questions I have had. The online courses are not as simple to navigate and the teachers are difficult to get ahold of. If you are interested in interacting and asking questions I suggest attending campus classes and staying away from the online program.

All of the courses required for the Nursing program are directly related to health and include 20 science credits. There have been no required classes that won't be beneficial as I pursue my Nursing degree.

The online course software is not very user friendly. It is acceptable but is very basic and has no extra features. After having attended an online university with extensive features this was difficult to adjust to. I had one teacher who never even logged on once during the entire semester. Never responded to any correspondence via email or the online campus website.

Many of the classes I have taken seem to have many Navit students who don't take their studies seriously. They are there so that they can get out of regular high school courses. They tend to be more of a giggling distraction in class than a student who wishes to pursue their educational future. For those adults who are on campus, who are working parents/students, paying for our educations out of pocket, they have voiced the same concerns about the high school students who have been allowed dual enrollment. Perhaps a more restrictive policy about the dual enrollment students would weed out those who really want to be there.

They are really helpful with everything. When a question is asked there is always an answer. They are willing to talk with you about school and they are just always there to help. They have many scholarships for students taking classes at NPC. The tuition is also low as well for in-state students.

The school offers a wide variety of different degrees and academics for students to accommodate, but has some missing classes needed to fulfill certain degrees in order to graduate.

One thing I have enjoyed so far from this college is having those students who have been accepted for a certain scholarship from the school to be invited to weekend getaways to get to know one another better.

The student body at my school seem average and have not brought up any thing that I have particularly disagreed with.
College Freshman 2013-08-04T01:41:58Z
The school is very helpful with transferring to universities to finish degrees and schooling.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition is very low and affordable and the financial aid process takes time to fill out and takes about 2 months for the funds to go through.

The availability to print instructor's notes,in the writing center is very helpful.
College Senior 2013-05-18T14:46:37Z
I think it is above average but there are somethings that could be better.

I have never taken online courses before but am courious. I think it would be nice to take online courses and not having to worry about the weather or commuting. It would also teach you how to manage your time since you are doing these courses on your own time.

The computer network has problems occasionally but is fixed fast. The speed is sometimes slow but is usually pretty decent and there is always a computer available. There is a small fee to print.

Right now I am taking my associates in science, and I would have to say that it's fairly easy and the workload isn't heavy.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I believe I am getting my money's worth and I thought that the financial aid process went somewhat smoothly and that the financial aid workers were very helpful and nice.
College Sophomore 2013-03-10T07:54:18Z
There is a good diversity at the school, people of different ethnic, economic, sexual, age, religious, and political backgrounds.

The NAVIT program is completely ridiculous. They dont take into consideration for anybody but themselves. They only care about minimal things as a whole, not even thinking about us as individuals. They are late on getting us books, information, etc. But, I am glad it is all free.
College Senior 2013-02-21T17:08:02Z
Being a NAVIT student, I rarely see any college students except for the occassional adult. Even when we do see these adults, there are very, and yes I do mean very little of them, who are actually accepting of us NAVIT students. They believe we are ignorant, and we do not belong in such a 'sophisticated' class with them because they are 'adults' and we are only Juniors and Seniors in high school.
College Senior 2013-02-21T17:04:38Z
They make the class easier, as it allows you to go at your own pace as well as know how you are doing in the class. It is very tedious though, making it extremely boring and not keeping my attention. I like that I can do what I know, and it explains to me what I got wrong and how I got it wrong.
College Senior 2013-02-14T19:35:34Z
Tuition & Financial Aid:
It's wonderful. It's very inexpensive and the school schedules finaid to come to each campus to help out students apply for the next semester.
College Senior 2013-02-14T19:34:17Z
Great! But, there's only 3 public computers. So, unless your here first or have your own, you're screwed with your assignments.
College Senior 2013-02-14T19:31:48Z
So, their aren't the best. But they try! You have to order any and every book you need.
College Senior 2013-02-14T19:30:26Z
They have an awesome staff, but the smaller locations have no library! It's difficult to try to get work done if you don't have internet access or computer access at home. Getting one's hands on resources can be a pain, because all they have in one bookshelf filled with encyclopedias and dictionaries. There's no reference books for the classes, if you don't/can't get a book for a class, you're kinda screwed cause you can't borrow it or look at one at the center. This is really problematic.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
