Again I live in Florida and the campus is located in Idaho

This school is better than the rest because it is a Christian college and it is grounded in their beliefs

I do online classes so hard to answer questions regarding the campus

There is a wide variety of major options at NNU. Even though the school is affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene, that isn't the only thing the school focuses on. If you want to be a doctor, the biology program is great! If you want to be a preacher, the religion program is great! Overall, the school is great!

From what I have noticed, the use of drugs isn't very popular. However, I am sure that there are some people who use drugs, they just hide it pretty well.

The weather in Nampa is great! Nampa experiences all four seasons and you definitely know which season you are in. The winters can be somewhat cold, though.

I received quite a bit of financial aid. It ended up costing as much as the state college.

Northwest Nazarene University has an excellent nursing program, and I have really enjoyed attending this school. Experienced professors that care about my success, and clean, updated facilities all contribute to a great experience. There are plenty of opportunities for students, especially nursing students, to create connections for future employment by working with and in the community.

Everyone that I have had interactions with has been very helpful and easily accessible. I receive a decent amount of financial aid and have never had any problems with any part of the process. There have not been any scholarship offers from the school itself thus far.

I have not completed a semester in the nursing program yet but I did complete one year of pre-nursing classes. They were challenging but not too difficult to complete, and I have two kids and work full-time. All the professors, advisors etc. genuinely care about your success.

I am a nursing major and this school has the best program in the state, that is why I am attending. It is extremely expensive but I feel that you get what you pay for. I work at the biggest hospital in the state as well and they love to hire NNU graduates, that speaks for something,I think.

It's a private Christian school so it is strict. But I want to go to a school that isn't liberal and has good morals like NNU has.

Permits are FREE! At my other school I had to pay $75 for the school year for a permit and then another $15 for summer, very annoying. Very excited I don't have a tag hanging from my rearview mirror just a sticker in my windshield.

I've only eaten at Sonic so far, I really like it and it really isn't that expensive but I'm sure there are many more places to eat!

Nampa is a big city and I'm from a small town. I was worried I would feel overwhelmed by how big the city is but it has a small town feel and I really enjoy that. Feels more like home.

I haven't started yet but, I'm expecting to work my tail off!

I had an easy time getting into Northwest Nazarene. I got my application completed and sent in and found out I was accepted two days later.

I haven't started classes yet so I don't know what the program is going to be like but I have heard very good things about it.

There definitely are many different food options around campus, and not all fast food either. Mostly affordable and varied.

Although it's easy to find an internship in the Nampa area, maintaining ministry while being effective in school work and social/campus activities can be very difficult. It takes a great amount of time and responsibility to both get and keep a ministry internship, but it is well worth it if passionately pursued.

As a ministry major at NNU, I get challenged a lot by my peers and faculty to think creativly, critically, and communally about everything we do (both in theory and practice). I absolutely love it because of the environment where knowledge is a high priority but relationships and understanding at higher still.

The financial aid process can be a hassle and take considerable time, but they are very willing to work with you and help you out if you are patient and cooperative.

The process for a Ministry degree is difficult and takes a great deal of perseverance to accomplish, but it is all a part of growing into the program, of maintaining a good sense of calling, and being a part of the community pertaining to Christ and the church.
College Junior 2013-07-18T05:23:31Z
The nursing program is the best in the state. The school is a private school so all the professors must have a doctorate in the subject. I am very happy to go there, I just can't afford it.
College Junior 2013-07-18T05:21:39Z
It snows in the winter and I have to commute 20 minutes, it is very inconvenient.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
