As a Christian campus, students are much more modest than students you might see at other schools. There is a level of respect that is expected and given by all. The men at Northwestern are true gentlemen in a society where chivalry is often thought to be dead. Many of the women on campus are mild-mannered and modestly dressed.
Men and women interact in almost every activity. There are more women at Northwestern than men, and the amount of relationships is very high. Many students are excited about the idea of meeting their future spouse in college, and this is no different at Northwestern. There are events held between brother and sister halls so men and women can get to know each other on a more personal level. Students at Northwestern are uncommonly friendly and genuinely care about their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
