I've really had no help and have had no clue who my advisor was.

I mean its a community college so I don't expect too much out of it, but I guess there could be more things.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
There are community grants that are available to students that are not eligible for the pell grant. So fro being a small school they really try to help as many people as they can.

Because Northwestern is a smaller school there are not as many classes to pick from. But because I know what I want to do all of the classes that I need to take are available. If you are just going for general studies the list will not be as long as the other schools.

My major is not offered that my school but I can apply through my school to another community college. It makes it very convenient because at the end of it all the degree will come from my school because they work with the other school.

The Science programs at this school surpasses any other community college in the state. I have taken others are other schools and I have learned so much more at northwestern. The classes are more in-depth which makes them harder but we are there to learn so it pays off in the end.

There is a lot of flexibility for gen-ed classes, and courses that offer several different classes that are the same. More specific programs are not as flexible; for example, the vet tech program only offers classes during the day.

My experience at NWCC has been great. During the enrollment process, I was missing several important documents, and the people in the admissions office were excellent, helpful and kept in touch. I have found the workload on the classes to be very reasonable, while the classes themselves covered almost identical material to the big state colleges. My teachers have always been available if I needed help, and the library and office staff around campus are also polite and helpful.

The art professors are especially helpful and committed. The classes aren't to large or small, you can get one on one help if you want it and a lot of the teachers are easy to get ahold of. Registration is relatively easy.

The resources are okay but there's not a lot of space.

I chose this school because I love their early childhood education program. The classes are mostly in the evening so it works well with my work schedule.

The teachers know not all students will enjoy their class so they make it fun and enjoyable for as much people as possible. They include connecting with students personally (individually and generally) and the subjects to life. They are always open to help and always give their office hours, e-mail, phone number sometimes, and where to find them at times.

Engineering science major. Enjoying it quite a lot. The class structure and time slots are easy to work with and flexible. The teachers great, they're always willing to see or help a student, it's location is decent but a bit cramped in the middle of town, buildings are fresh and not outdated, parking can be an issue at times, and it's very clean.

Most online classes have been awesome for me. There was one that had me in tears, though. My teacher was never available and never gave feedback or reason for the grade given.

Library hours are not late enough. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There are many resources available for students and I love the new Arts and Science building. Small class size also makes it easier to learn.

The campus has a few small kitchens that serve home made food for very cheap. These kitchens are set up more like your living room with couches and TV's and small tables. The kitchens also bring in a lot of students, making it easy to talk with other students

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The value of my education that I am receiving is worth the tuition. Working with the financial aid office could not be any easier. A lot of the information that is needed, deals with most of your parents information. Other than that information, finical aid is a breeze.
College Senior 2013-01-16T17:36:25Z
The professors are very helpful and friendly. If I ever needed the extra help, they did their best to meet with me. If they could not meet with me, they would send me to the academic learning center. This room had students and other professors who could help with homework and best understanding of materials. This extra help provided is the best part of my campus

Mostly Career Oriented – Most of the people i meet are there for a career. They focus on the classes they need for the degree and thats it. There are many older people. I dont find many "just out of highschool" students

I am able to keep my work schedule about the same most semesters. If anythig i have to change one day. Classes are offered at many different times and days so it will work for anyone. Both online and on campus classes are offered.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
