Advice on Finding a Job/Internship
  • Many of the schools have their own career center offices, and these provide great resources regarding recent job and internship postings. They also help with resumes and cover letters.
  • Networking is important. Get to know people, and they'll help you out in the long run. Professors and advisers are great resources. NU students have high placement rates, so extra effort will get you far in your search. Also, take advantage of programs put on by the Alumni Association. Alumni connections are a great way to get a foothold in whatever field you're interested in—Northwestern alums take care of their own.
