Lacking

Oxy told me that they would meet all of my demonstrated financial need for school. They didn't tell me that that mostly meant student loans. I will graduate with tens of thousands of dollars in debt. If you have a very low income, financial aid is great, if you have a very high income, you can easily afford the school, but if you're somewhere in the middle... you're out of luck.

Oxy is great about being aggressive with their financial aid. If you get into the school they want to do all that they can to make sure you can afford it. That being said, the cost of going to Oxy is formidable and very few students get their financial aid packets without needing to take out some form of loan.
