Since I've lived in Ohio all of my life, I'm pretty used to the weather, but in all honesty, it's not that great. It can change drastically from day to day. It will be sunny and 60 one day and snowy/rainy and 30 the next day. It will also do this from hour to hour; no kidding. There are definitely a lot of places with better weather.

Personally, getting into the business school was very easy. I applied and was accepted into the honors program, therefore I was directly admitted into the business school. For non-honors students and non "Fisher Direct" (students, including some non-honors, directly admitted into business school), they have to apply to get into the business school. I don't think it's very difficult to do or get in, but I definitely like how I didn't have to apply. The honors program was a fairly easy process, even though it was much more extensive than getting into the university itself. Way more essays and time commitment, but definitely worth every second.

The transportation is amazing because it gets me around Columbus with no hassle, I do not even need a car to go to this school! The CABS bus service runs at great hours that allow us students to get to class or anywhere easily whether it be through CABS or the Columbus Transit busline

The city of Columbus is an exciting place to live! There's a variety of events happening and always something to do. Additionally, the university has a discount tickets program that makes it easy for students to participate in many of these occurrences, even on a limited college budget.

Guys & Girls:
With the size of the university, it is nearly impossible to not meet someone that is "your type".
College Junior 2013-02-27T21:10:02Z
The university keeps facilities up to date, always improving and updating.

It is fairly simple to get into my program. As long as you are active, achieve good grades, and stay determined you should get in.

My career goal is to work for one of the many government agencies after I graduate from Ohio State. I feel that I will be able to find a job becaus eof the growing field.

As long as you are not a freshman, there shouldn't be a problem with parking. Costs of permit is reasonable, and there are plenty spots including campus garage.

For past 4 years, none of my classes got ever cancelled, even when there were snow storm and hurricane.

Ohio State is known for athletics, especially for football. We won every game in 2012. Support is at max. RPAC, the athletic facility is the best in U.S.
College Sophomore 2013-02-24T00:43:30Z
The RPAC is the best athletic center in the United States. Whatever you want to do, there is.

Ohio State has everything you could ever ask for. Everything from career services to programs and events networking with professionals and graduates. There are also many clubs that can help with finding a career or co-op.

The drug scene is definitely available if you want to be in it. There really isn't much peer pressure. There is a lot of drinking though and its definitely easy to find a party.

You get hot to very cold, but its definitely better than other places. Its definitely tolerable.

There are so many things to do, there's always a party or a club that you can go to and everything is within walking distance or you are able to use the bus system for free with your student id so transportation isn't a problem. If you're not into the drinking scene there is still plenty to do, with a city at your door step the possibilities are pretty much endless.

Ohio State is a wonderful college, don't be fooled by the "sports school" persona that many like to give it. The school is one of the leaders in the nation in research, which is one quality that sets it apart from others. Also Ohio state has a global presence, meaning that really anywhere in the world you go you are bound to find another buckeye to connect with. Campus life thrives at such a big university there are hundreds of clubs to get involved with, different recreational activities that you can do and of course sporting events that you can go to all year round.

For the most part the buildings are very up to date, this being said there is always construction going on. There are many spaces that are really great for students to hang out an study and all of them are kept clean and nice. Some recent renovations/additions to the school are the Recreational and physical activities center (RPAC), the Thompson Library (main), the Ohio Union, and the Science and Engineering Library.

There are many different types of people at Ohio State. Diversity as a whole isn't an issue, also they are very accepting of all types of people. Being such a large school its hard to say that no one antisemitic but i really believe that's for anywhere you go to school.

There is a ton of different majors at OSU and it is extremely respectable in most of them. I personally am in the Psychology department and I love being able to work with some of the top researchers in my field, especially doing undergraduate research in the labs. It's nice having teachers that are so passionate about everything they do.
College Senior 2013-02-22T15:08:17Z
Some restaurants can get a little pricey but the selection of what is available is absolutely brilliant and the school usually offers discounts at different restaurants every week to help bring down the prices
College Senior 2013-02-22T15:06:00Z
The real nightlife is for students that are over 21, but there are a ton of drink specials almost every night which make it a lot more worthwhile for those people who are 21. The house parties are absolutely killer though if that's your scene.
College Senior 2013-02-22T15:01:11Z
The weather is nothing that is new to me being from Ohio originally, but on days like the one currently occurring, the sidewalks get too icy to safely walk on and yet classes are not canceled so I have to risk my life to try and get to my single 45 minute class.
College Sophomore 2013-02-21T03:32:47Z
Parking on campus is fine if you have early classes, but after 10 am the parking lots get full. There are multiple permits you can buy, around $100 for the farthest parking lot, but it is not bad because of the bussing system.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
