There is a huge variety of places to go on campus. With lots of different kinds of foods. There are also quite a few places to just go and grab something very quickly. It would be nicer though if they switched things around once in a while though.

The food is decent. I really like this egg, sausage, and toast combo I get. The service however is not that great. There is always three or four peoople working, but no one to cook our food or ring us up at the register. If I don't go to the cafe for food, I have to drive through traffic to get food in time to be back fro class.

Nightlife overall seems to be pretty exciting. I hear abot parties all the time in my classes. I'm ot much of a partier though, so I don't pay mch attention to it.

I have recieved enough financiall aid to make it through the year okay. The process was pretty simple and help was availabe. However, the due dates were unclear and a lady working in the advising office for finanicial aid mis informed me.

Stunning campus. Beautiful scenery and wildlife abound. I give OSU an A- because there is a large amount of construction on campus.

Coming to OSU for colllege, I was met with nothing but openness. Both by the university, and by Columbus as a whole.

Sometimes when I go to the library, the internet connection is not working and I am forced to go scavenging for another computer, I usually have no way to connect to myself back to the internet from the desk top computers around.

Guys & Girls:
The campus is generally very attractive in regards to both guys and girls. That is if what your looking for is just physical beauty. I have found that few people can hold interesting intellectual conversations and lack any semblance of motivation to be here...But we are the most fit campus in the nation!

On campus transportation is really well done in respect to the bus system. But the minute you get off campus tranpo is rather lacking in Columbus proper. I even heard something about it being the largest cities in the U.S. without any light-rail or metro system. They could definitely use one because there are a lot of cool things to do around town, but at the moment a car is almost required.

There are so many restaurants on and off campus. Columbus is a hopping place! There is lots to do.

Varsity sports at Ohio State are pretty huge, especially the way campus treats us. We have wonderful training and workout facilities, including our own trainers, psychologists, and academic advisers. IM sports are pretty huge, too, because anyone can play. We have some pretty diverse ones, too

There are a lot of restaurants here in Columbus. One can basically find any and all types of food if one really craves it. The price of a meal is pretty decent for what people are eating. The standards and amazing as the health dept cracked down on restaurants in the past years.

Parking is a nightmare, have to get onto campus early to find a parking spot. Parking stickers are expensive, and it is hard to find parking. Have to take transportation from west campus to central campus if that is where you parked. It is a process every day.

Guys & Girls:
You will find pretty much all sorts of people here at OSU. The university is really diverse, it has recently been annouced that since 5 years ago there has been an increase of 40% in international students. The tuition here is quite reasonable compared to other universities. People here are quite friendly as there are students here from all walks of life. It is really easy to get use to the enviroment and people here. Easy to understand as Ohio is also known for having a universal accent (meaning there being none).

There are a lot of clubs for one to go to, but I would say the best would be the ample amount of house parties on weekends. There are many in around campus, easy to find, free drinks and food.

The engineering school is challenging yet rewarding. The teachers are very engaging and helpful. There are also many different ways the school tries to help students succeed in the classes they may be struggling in.

High Street has so many restaurants are on high street and you can use you Buck-ID at most of the places so you don't have to spend cold hard cash.

Depending on where you live walking may be easier or harder. Walking from the south side of campus sucks because most people live closer to north campus. If you walk with friends however it isn't too bad other than in the winter time.
College Sophomore 2012-11-15T16:45:21Z
For freshman the south side of campus is the best place to live. There are a ton of places to eat on the south side of campus and the dorms like the new Park-Stradley and Morrison Tower are good options. There are also two dorms under construction that will also be very nice. The upperclassmen dorm Residences on 10th are a great option if you are looking to stay on campus an extra year or two while getting the off campus feel.

Great night life. Always something going on in Columbus whether it's on the OSU campus or off-campus at clubs or bars.
College Sophomore 2012-11-13T13:49:34Z
It may seem intimidating to have four people living in the same room, but there is a lot more space than you would expect. The dorms all have a dining hall within a very short distance- at Drackett, it's literally right outside the door, and at Morrill it's in the same building.
College Sophomore 2012-11-13T03:16:33Z
The new meal plan called "blocks" is just another way to rip students off, essentially they round up to $5 increments. Besides that the food is far better and has more variety than most other colleges.
College Sophomore 2012-11-13T03:10:40Z
The buses run at nearly all times to many places around campus. It is also helpful to have free access to the public bus system.
College Junior 2012-11-12T23:53:26Z
There are plenty of off-campus dining options at Ohio State. It's down the street from the Short North, and is right along High Street. High street is lined with a variety of places to eat from subs, pizza, chipotle, and much more. There's something new to try just about every day. A lot of the places on high street also deliver to the dorms and off-campus housing!
Sorry, there are no reviews.
