In Need of Stronger Security – Everything seemed fine during the first quarter. Instructors expected you to be in class on time and the students expected that of the instructors as well. As far as security for vehicles go however, I feel that it needs to more enforced much more greatly. During my second quarter, my car got broken into, and my ipod was stolen. No camera reached my car, so there was nothing that could be done. The lock on the driver side door no longer works, and there's nothing I can do about not having my ipod...

Stay Focused – There seems to be quite a bit of partying at nearby housing. I've heard of several underage students drinking. There's no dorms in Lima and I commute an hour to and from every day so I'm not usually around in the night time.

Guys & Girls:
Ladies and Gentlemen – Everyone seems to be happy. Most students dress appropriately, but there's always a few that don't. Some faculty is rude, but others seem extremely nice and outgoing. Students seem to interact well together, and are usually talkative to one another. It's easy to make friends.

If you're moving from West Campus to Central Campus you'll definitely want to use the buses. Driving your own car to campus can be challenging, because at certain times during the day there is no parking available.

Football and Basketball Are Incredible – The football team is one of the best in the country and they go to a bowl game almost every year. Additionally, both the men's and women's basketball teams are really competitive and usually go far in the NCAA tournaments.
Intramurals are one of the best ways to get involved on campus. There are a variety of sports offered every season and they range from traditional (softball, basketball) to unusual (inner tube waterpolo and Wallyball.)

On the Prowl – While there are a number of parking garages, the most convenient place to park is a street spot. While the prices are fine, the meter maid is always on the prowl looking to make a quick $20 for the city of Columbus.

Plenty of Places – As one of the largest schools in the country, there is a large supply and demand for off-campus housing. Plenty of new apartments and older houses to be had all around campus. Prices are mostly based on location; the closer you are to campus, the more expensive it is.

Health & Safety:
Great Work – There are Emergency "booths" scattered all over campus, where a student, if in danger, could press the emergency button and be immediately connected to the OSU police. Standing at one, you can always see another spot, which was a great move by the university.

The weather is always a problem between the months of Novemeber and March. OSU is a huge campus and when its ice cold outside like it right now its almost unbearable to make the long walks between classes. Classes also never get cancelled.

The atomosphere around the Ohio State Campus is an extremely lively one. There are countless activities to participate in and always students on the go whether they're going to class, the RPAC to work out, or just out grabbing something to eat. There's never a dull moment.

There are plenty of places on campus to eat, they may not all be that convenient. Therefore, it can get repetitive after awhile.

Study Options – There are so many educational options at OSU. So if you decide to change your major it can be easily done and you won't have to transfer.

Lots of Drinking, Not Smoker-Friendly – There is A LOT of drinking at Ohio State. I do not drink at school and have a somewhat hard time finding people to hang out with that also don't, which is why I have not yet found a roommate to move into an apartment with. Lots of opportunities for partying! Also, OSU is becoming less smoker-friendly, which is great for someone like myself who suffers from asthma.

Rec Centers – The Recreation and Physical Activity Center (RPAC) is a state-of-the-art facility, but I feel that some of the equipment they have is very unnecessary. That being said, they have almost everything one would ever need for working out.

Keep Searching! If you want to obtain many scholarships it is best to fill out Ohio State's scholarship application and your college's scholarship application. But going to outside sources is the best way to get as many scholarships as you can!

The Ohio State is full of diversity. There are students from nearly every state and from countries all over the world. There are different professors from various countries as well that like to work their culture into lectures. There are many classes about different cultures to choose from. Campus Technology – Computer labs at The Ohio State University are very accessible. There is always someone to give assistance when needed. There are Mac labs as well as PC labs and most of the time it is easy to find an open computer. Printing on campus is easy with just a quick swipe of a student's BuckID. The IT staff is VERY reliable. They will sit there for hours if necessary in order to assist students.

So Far, So Good! The experience has been great so far -- I enjoy the relax atmosphere of the campus and have had wonderful professors who have helped me adjust from undergraduate studies to graduate studies. I am also a 5th-year senior on the Ohio State Cross Country/Track and Field teams, which has allowed me to form tight bonds with a group of girls that are very similar to me!

I am a graduate student and therefore am not completely in the "greek scene." I have had interacted with greek members at my undergraduate university and the greek life at Ohio State seems to be relatively similar. However, it seems to be a bit less cliquey and not such an essential part of social life on campus.

I find the university campus to be extremely diverse with a wide range of cultures, ethnicities, races, nationalities, religions, etc. I enjoy going to class because I receive such a broad, wide-range of view points and there are a variety of experiences that are brought to the table with every topic.

The FAFSA was easy to fill out. The scholarship application and external scholarships are not made known enough to the students. You have to search the website to find them. The financial aid office tends to not get things done accurately sometimes, because they have so many students. Additionally, the lines are long.

I do not live on campus, so am not entirely sure. However, in terms of Academic Conduct, there is no tolerance for cheating or plagerism.

Not Applicable – I do not live on campus. I live in an apartment about 10 minutes from campus.

Most of the nightlife is off-campus drinking at people's apartments.
