Labs Are Available All Over but Usually Crowded – The computer labs are usually pretty crowded but there are plenty of computers. The library is the only place that could use more computers and possibly its own computer lab.

While commuters may grip about paying $90 a year to park on campus, the price is worth it in my opinion. The only downside is that you are 30 min walking distance from main campus. The plus side is that there is a regular busing service to take you from the lot to campus.

Drug Scene Is Out of Sight, Alcohol Not So Much – To be honest I've never even heard of drug abuse on campus, but that may just be me. Alcohol however is running rampant. If there's are party there is like some form of it present.

Something for Everyone – There are all kinds of people here at OSU, and with them all kinds of beliefs and perspectives. While the majority of the college is white, there are plenty of other ethnic groups represented as well. The only down side that I can see is that there is a monopoly in the religion department, with Christianity taking top spot.

High Street Is the Place to Be – No matter where you go on High St. you can always find the restaurant you want. From fast food to in-house dinning, there is everything you could possibly want. The prices are to be expected, but there are always discounts to be had for students. The Eddie George's Bar and Grill is an especially hot place for gatherings during Football Saturday.

Condom Club, Mirror Lake and Research Opportunities – What a combination right? Well the Condom Club is a program at the RPAC's Wellness Center that is focused on safe sex on campus and provides members with 50 condoms for $5 after successful completion of a short condom use information session.
After joining the Condom Club you can get yourself hyped up for the Michigan football game in November. The most popular and traditional way to do this is to jump into Mirror Lake the Thursday before the football game, even if the lake has a layer of ice on it.
However, after all the fun there are plenty of opportunities to gain important research experience by applying for the many Research Internships on campus, crucial for anyone who would like to pursue a graduate degree.

Guys & Girls:
Incredible Variety – Ohio State's size results in incredible diversity, there are students from all around the world at this school and tons of pretty people everywhere you look. If you're looking to meet people with similar interests then you must join a few of our student organizations, there are over 900 by the way, that cater to practically any interest. Meeting people is definitely not an issue here at Ohio State.

One of the Largest Majors – Psychology is consistently one of the largest majors here at Ohio State so the program receives a pretty good amount of funding which allows Psych majors to enjoy certain perks. For example, all declared Psych majors at Ohio State have access to the Psychology Building's computer lab and are also given 75 free prints from that lab. Psychology majors also receive $1000 toward any study abroad program they are a part of, even if the program is not related to the major. Also, Psychology Grad Students at Ohio State do not have to pay tuition and may even receive teaching positions at the University during their Graduate studies, a major plus of the Psychology program.

I really enjoy living at Morrison Hall at OSU. I think that the bathrooms really need an upgrade but overall the set up is really nice. You are close enough to everything on campus and you get to know who you are living with in the hall

Variety of Capums Food – The variety of food on campus is good enough that your are content but the variety could be better. Many of the places on cmpus to eat serve almost the same things and the food gets really old fast.

In the Middle of Nowhere – Very expensive for parking passes. Buses are available to pick you up across campus but expect a 20 to 30 minute bus ride. An inconvenience.

It Is Alright – Never really into athletics, but I know OSU has a strong foundation when it comes to that subject.

Even if the size is big, there are people everywhere and there are emergency stands everywhere.

Great Time – the only complaint I can say is weather. The entire school/campus environment is amazing. Love OSU. definitely worth coming to. Unlike any other place...Parties, academics, and athletics all top notch.

Frat parties have been cracked down on since I was there. We used to have all out bashes at Beta. So did Phi Psi and Phi Tau. Now no parties are allowed. Most sororities have really hot chicks so it is a good way to meet them. I joined to feel like I was more apart of campus than just an individual of 50,000 plus students.

One of the largest and newest workout facilities in RPAC and brand new state of the art main library and student union (the ohio union). Straight up the best in the country for sure.

As a native Ohioan I am used to the four season extremes. Fall is fun with gamedays and everything though it gets cold towards the end of it. Winter, be ready for snow and lots of it. It can be fun. Spring is amazing and same with summer. Tons of ladies all over campus laying out in bikinis. The oval awesome and O'patio (four kegs) is a sweet bar when it starts to warm up.

I have been to tons of campuses around the country. tOSU has amazing nightlife. Downtown is cool when you are older and want to get a little bit further away from the younger crowd. Bars on High St. are always packed and always a good time.

Busses always running all around the entire campus and the entire city. All free with your student ID. Cabs are also readily available very easily.

Not Bad – Parking at tOSU is not the worst I have ever seen on campus at least. The off campus parking is not bad but if you park in a spot that you are not supposed to you will get towed ASAP

Tops in the US – The Ohio State University athletics, student involvement and spirit, facilities and team performance are all top notch. The gameday atmosphere at The OSU is unlike that of any other school.

Overall, it's been good at OSU. I am currently a junior and feel like I still have so much to do. It sucks that I may be graduating soon--I wish I could stay longer!

The diversity at OSU is really not bad at all. One could say it's almost impressive. There are many international students here, both as undergrads and grads. A lot of people come from random places, from every side of the country to the urban and rural parts of Ohio. There is basically every color of the rainbow (racially) and so many various political and religious beliefs. Being in Columbus, OH, OSU has a huge LGBT support group. OSU is a huge college and because of that, it holds a beauty in carrying so much diversity. This is one of its best aspects.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
