Tuition & Financial Aid:
The financial aid process was pretty smooth, but they could've given more guidance as to when things need to be confirmed.

In my pre-calculus class, there are quite a few assignments, but they're not huge. They can be done in a reasonable amount of time. My writing class schedule is pretty confusing and hard to keep up with, but the teacher isn't bad.

This school provides many small degrees for people seeking jobs. I highly recommend it for job seeking people.

The library is large and there are convenient book stores across the street and on campus. The campus itself is very clean, quiet, and modern.

Printing is cheap and there are many computers and wireless access.

The intentions are to educate well, but a couple teachers I have aren't as "interactive" as the others.

Very. You have a flexible class schedule if you do it early enough.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
There are a lot of ways to gain aid at this school.

for the way my major is designed, there are several classes that are offered on a so limited basis, that they have to be taken a in a certain order to keep your major on track and can prevent you from taking non program required classes and has delayed me in getting my associates by a semester.
College Junior 2013-01-26T00:59:41Z
With how small the University is, there are several courses that are only offered every other or every third semester, making it difficult to get both the program classes scheduled and getting non program requirements met at the same time.

Hard Work Pay Off – I like when a professor encourage me to keep on trying and never give up. We only learn from our mistake to become great at what we do.

Working together on our study, helping each other to understand. Not judging on each other and accpting each

OUS Makes Me Wish I Had Went Back to School Sooner! The only problem I have had was when I first enrolled. I had just happened to enroll while the college was changing from quarters to semesters. The enrollment officer had just left and the assistant was trying to do it all herself. It took me enrolling 3 times before I finally got into the computer system! After I was finally in the computer everything has been fine. I haven't had a single problem since then. Everybody has went out of their way to make sure my college experience has been a good one.

I Love My College – I choose Ohio University because of their excellent nursing program. It's a little farther away than some of the other colleges, but I feel it is worth it. I have previously worked with nurses that have graduated from OUS and they have all been very knowledgable and confident in their practice of nursing. Everybody there are so friendly and helpful that it put any fears of me going back to college after so many years at ease.

My Experience – I've had a great experience at Ohio University so far. I'm getting ready to go through the quarter to semester change with them, so we'll see how that goes. I'm what they call a transition student.

OUS Computer Labs – We have up to date computer labs, printing capabilities, and wireless access, however the hours that the labs are open are not very flexible.

Melting Pot – In a average class, you will find students anywhere from 16-70. We have a lot of older students and non traditional students. Most students are white, some diversity, there is religious and political diversity. Most students also work at least part-time, most of us work full-time to support families. Every class I've been in as worked together well, everyone is always friendly and supportive.

I started off as an education major and was only one quarter away from finishing when I changed my degree. I had the best professors imaginable. My English professor was amazing and took us on trips to experience communities were literature was very strong, such as festivals, etc. Almost everyone I know takes over the recommended load of courses and our professors are very supportive of this because we sometimes have to fight to get the classes for our major offered, but once we speak, we are heard!

Only Takes One – It only takes one bad part of a college to make you not want to go there. For my school it is the entire admissions process. The department has also lost numerous of my friend's files that included transcripts they need for their major. Overall, once you get past this part of the process, it is an awesome school. The instructors are amazing, the Dean will even have a conversation with you and overall I haven't had any terrible experiences. It is in a nice community and has many degree options. I'm a proud bobcat!

Black Board – this program is very easy to use and is very organized.

General Campus – The campus its self is not bad, although since this is a branch from ohio university it does not have any athletics avaliable.

About OU – I like it because the tuition is not that high and I like how they run it and how they handle the students as well.

Easier Than I Thought – Attending college has been easier than I expected. Sometimes, it seems easier than high school was. The class schedules are flexible, I can work the necessary hours I need on my paycheck, but don't feel horribly stressed over finishing my homework. I have not transferred credits, but if I did, I feel confident that the staff would help me every step of the way for a smooth transition.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education is up to par with the main campus for many of the courses. The tuition is very fair, given how much it would be for me to go to the Athens campus for the same courses. The financial aid process seems to be daunting, at first. However, once you figure out what to do, it becomes much simpler.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
