My school makes you feel at home. We are a commuting school, but OUZ works very hard to make you feel that you are included in clubs and activities that go on.

I have taken 1 online class. It was the easiest class I have ever taken. The instructor responded immediately.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Tuition has gone up just as any other college. The nice thing is right now fall tuition is 2600.00, which is much cheaper than other schools offering a four year degree.

The people who work in the tutoring room are wonderful. They are always helpful and if they do not know the answer they will find out for you or direct you to the right person.

The professors are always helpful and will work with you in any situation. Myself being an education major they are always looking for better ways to improve ourselves in the classroom and outside of it. It is awesome to have the opportunity to work closely with your classmates and instructors to be successful in the end.

Sometimes it is difficult to log onto the network at school. If you are using a kindle or Iphone and the screen happens to shut off, then you have to log in again. The connection is pretty slow so you can imagine it gets frustrating.

The professors there make me feel like I am a hassle to them. I am not sure if it's just the nursing program or the entire school. Many times I have made the comment that it feels like they actually want me to fail.

Our school is kind of old, so there are a lot of facilities that need to be updated. Our athletic facilities are a shared space and so oftentimes when I show up to work out there is a class in progress and I am unable to. We have a very nice library and the staff are always friendly.

The program I am in is not offerd at my school. So I can't take any of the unique classes that are involved for it. The workload for it is a lot, I do know that. The curriculum I'm in right now is taking a few basic classes until I can transfer and start taking my major ones. The faclitltes are great, they have helped me get involved in my major and what I need to do for when I transfer colleges. Intership/job oppertunies are not offerd at my school for my major.

The computer labs here are plentiful. There is a couple you can go to that have a lot of computers inside. The network relablity isn't always the greatest. Sometimes I have poor connection every here and there. The speed is pretty good though. The wirless access is pretty good. I can bring my laptop and know that I will be able to use it there. The need for a personal computer is not nesscary because there is plenty of computers at the college and they also have printers there.

There isn't much that sets apart our school from others. The acedemic programs here are okay but nothing to exciting. We usually have a good nursing program here. The social scene is pretty dull because a lot of people who go here are older or they are here to get their work done and leave. The faclitites here are okay we have a couple of computer labs that are usually useful espcially for the people who don't have a laptop or computer. The campus life is pretty good. There is lots of clubs and organizations you can join here, but nothing for me.

The proffesors here are great! They are usually friendly and always willing to help. Sometimes they go a little fast but they are great teachers. The curriculum is okay from what I have seen. They don't have the major there I want, that's why i attend on transferring this fall. The class registration process is also great. I have priority registration so I always get first pick. The workload is sometimes a lot but not too much. As for spcial study options they have great tutors here to help with studying or any questions you may have.

The athletic ceter is pretty small. There isn't much room to exercise because of that. The student center is great! I get a lot of help in there and my grades has improved because of that. The libray is very relaxed and a quiet place to go for studying. As for campus activites there isn't much to do because it's a community college but there are events here and there but not ones I like. In geneal it's an okay campus but it can be boring at times.

When taking online courses here you really have to have excellent time management skills. That's my best advice for this course. I had a huge time management issue when I was transitioning from High School to a community college setting and it's very different. I would suggest writing everything on a calender for the month so you don't miss a thing!

I have already been talking to the career services crew. They were helpful in helping choose courses and look for possible internships. I am hoping to do one this summer. :)

Lots of different people all seem to be normally friendly as usual

I would suggest one buying a laptop. I have to use my compter a lot. If one has a laptob they can be on the computer and be comfortable. I have many essays assigned and i have to check my email every night to keep up on classes. I also check my grades often to make sure i am doing my best. There are computer labs available at school so its nice when on the capus.

My statistics class is a PSY class i have to have for my bachelor's degree. The math is not too difficult but, the context can be quiet confusing. I think the class is very appropriate for the nursing degree.

My Anatomy class can be very challanging. It takes lots of studying time. I have an amazing professor who explains material well and will take extra time to answer individual questions. I think its a great thing the class is tough, because it will prove the students are working hard.

I love the school, the low tuition costs, and the ability to still feel at home. :)
College Junior 2012-12-12T15:50:05Z
All of the above listed things are readily available to students, and although our library is smaller we can pull books from Athens campus and have them shipped to us :)
College Junior 2012-12-12T15:49:05Z
I love the campus its self professors are very friendly and being a regional campus I can live at home.

The network login is extremely annoying. It wont let me get to the page to log in have the time with my laptop. :/ Other than that though most everything else is okay
College Junior 2012-11-15T16:56:55Z
Most of the students here are friendly and willing to help eachother at times of need.
College Junior 2012-11-15T16:56:23Z
I don't really like them that much, but it has nothing to do with the school its self. i jsut find it hard to rely on having a good strong internet connection at home in order to be able to do and view all of our assignments. Also, I dont like how you do not know what assignments you have without getting online because if you cant access the internet that day then you will miss the assignment.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
