Alot Available, Hard to Get

Their are a lot of scholarships available from Ohio University but they are hard to get, you need a certain GPA, have to do certain things to get them which makes it hard for students who are trying to stay in college their first time to get these due to certain requirements.

Scholarship Opportunities

Although I did receive aid from the school for my finances, there are many restrictions for the aid and a few of my scholarships/grants were not processed until I had to meet with my advisor many times to remind her to apply it to my account. The appointments with the advisors should be made regularly and I had to remind myself to be nice to them, but still forceful, there are a lot of students to each representative and they need to know the urgency of the situation to get it done.

Just Apply

There is no hurt in applying for financial aid as almost everyone has to do it in their college years. My experience here was that they were very helpful and went the extra mile for me.
