There really is no cheap way to get anywhere quickly unless you have a car. To get to columbus, you must take at least two buses, the DATA and the COTA. It is also really expensive to take a cab from Columbus to Delaware or from Delaware to Columbus.

Delaware County Weather

The weather of Delaware is typical of Ohio. There is a lot of snow in winter, which is a hassle because classes are rarely cancelled. The nuisance increases when the school does not adequately clear walks, thereby making the walk to classes unpleasant. However, during the fall and spring there are many students outside enjoying the wonderful sunshine and pretty landscape.

There are basically no off campus housing options, and it is very difficult to get one. However, I think the University makes up for it by offering numerous ways to dorm here on campus. There's your obvious college dorm room, with renovations going on in Stuyvesant. There are Frats and Greek life, and OWU has what they call a SLU. A Small Living Unit are various themed houses that put on themed activities and functions every year. They are really awesome and one of my favorite parts of OWU and I think they make up for the lack of off campus housing.
