School is expensive, so it's not going to be as easy as I thought. However, I did receive some financial aid and have dealt with an identity theft situation that put me on hold from attending school this semester. Hopefully, I do get to attend school by Spring semester. It's difficult looking for scholarships that require certain fields of study, but I try my best to.

Getting the admissions scholarship was easy, trying to take a semester off to participate in a co-op caused a huge headache to fight to keep the scholarship. After months of fighting, it was settled and I still receive my financial aide and scholarship.

if you work hard and talk to the registrar the money you need is available

I got financial aid for $1,500 per semester which would help with my books and some of the meal plan, but then they took it away saying that since my parents are divorced and remarried then they should have enough money to put a child through college. This is false though my parents are remarried they do not make enough money. It is not just me in college, but my sister as well is attending college at the same time. Plus my mother had another child and he is young so he needs materials and supplies because he grows out of clothes, so he needs more clothes, which is more money. So we had to fight with financial aid, finally was on the phone with a nice financial aid lady who told us to fill the financial aid form out including this information (which I found ridiculous that we even had to fill another one out). Got some money but not as much as they originally said we would get.
