I think there is a very accepting attitude as far as racial differences, but there is probably other diversity walls that exist.

Olivet Nazarene University has a melting pot of people on campus. I would hope that everyone feels welcome.
College Junior 2013-11-18T20:08:09Z
The one thing I appreciate the most about Olivet Nazarene University is that all of my professors pray before the start of class.

Olivet's computer labs are comfortable, if a little disorganized and old-school. The hardware itself though is top of the line. They invest a lot in the technology students have available. The network is known to go down periodically, but it is usually up within 20 minutes. Wireless functionality is spotty, and largely depends on where you are on campus.

The psychology program is top notch. The materials were quality, and nothing frivolous was required of students. The program was difficult at times, but never insurmountably so. The workload was relatively standard in my opinion (never having experienced another psychology program) , and the classrooms and other facilities were always comfortable. I admittedly did not seek out job/internship opportunities, as I realized psychology was not the direction I wished to take my career. That being said, with what required experience I had with Olivet's Career Center, opportunities didn't seem to be overflowing.

As stated earlier, Olivet's professors are superb, generally. Most of its curriculum seemed relevant (its fashion studies program might as well not be there). The registration process is very precise and the flow highly organized, if a bit time consuming due to the number of people. Specific workloads obviously vary by major and individual. Science majors, of course, are the most intense. I am not familiar with any advertised special study areas, but the Biology, Psychology, Criminal Justice and Business Administration programs seemed to be the most popular.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
