The process to get into the Accounting program is very easy. There are no applications or special tests. All you have to do is pass the required classes.

My major is Accounting I love the program! The teachers make the subject very interesting and fun to learn about. I want to continue after college to get my C.P.A. and several of the professors have earned their C.P.A and have real world experience.

OIT attracts a large array of all different races and religious backgrounds. The school does not discriminate and nor do the students there.

It can be a muggy start at the beginning of Fall Term, but that quickly dissipates during the Winter comings. It snows occasionally in Klamath Falls, but once it does snow, it stays for quite some time due to the high altitude and low temperatures it has to offer. During Spring you could have an inch of snow in the morning on the ground and come out from your first class and it had all melted and the sun is shining bright.

It has a great town surrounding it that is similar to the decent sized town I grew up in. There is a lot of things to do if you're an outdoors type person like the lake and travelling short distances to see many parks and outdoor sites for fun. Inside the town there are bowling alleys, movie theaters and a plethora of local fast food places that are to die for. Shopping isn't a big deal with places like Fred Meyers, Wal-Mart, Safeway, Thunderbird, etc. etc.

There is a lot of rentals in this town. Fairly agreeable prices and generally safe neighborhoods.

There are not very many options for dining off campus but they are all pretty good. The on campus options are very poor.

They think they are rigorous, but really they are just a B school. Entry requirements are non-existent. Hardly anybody gets denied. I had a friend who got in with a 2.25 GPA. Which I spent a lot of time tutoring. Quality is low.

I got three tickets the first week of school. They don't allow you to back into a spot ($20 fine), I parked on the line once because it was covered in ice ($50 fine) and my hanger permit was backwards ($20 fine). The parking permits are pretty cheap, but they get you throughout the year if you do a tiny ting wrong and you are paying as much as a big school. Also, watch out if you try to park off campus in the witner, the snow plows will bury your car, adn you might get ticketed.

Hardly hear about these on campus. It's not a big deal if you are in a frat or sorority, and it is not a big deal if you never set foot in one.

In the union you can play foosball or ping pong, which is boring after 3 days of it. There are no traditions except basketball games. The buildings are extremely boring and have no interesting features. Seems like art is a foreign concept to the design of the campus. Campus Activities is very non-existent, which is hard in the winters when the snow starts to fall and doesn't allow you to get out of town.
College Sophomore 2013-07-20T15:50:17Z
It snows a lot and they don't take care of the roads or parking lots. The parking lots turns into an ice rink, with cars sliding and people falling. The streets off campus are just ice for at least three months of the year. It is hard to leave Klameth falls in the winter because of the snow, and there is nothing to do in town, so it becomes very isolated. Classes are never canceled, so if you are from a warm climate and don't know how to drive on ice, be prepared to buy a bus ticket. Also, ice is everywhere on the sidewalks, two of my friends broke their legs last term when they fell down the many stairs on campus.

The bathrooms are dirty and they have grafetti in them. I'm afraid to go to the bathroom, but in the winter you have to because of the snow.

The town is in walking distance, however, the campus is fairly isolated from the rest of Oregon, especially in the Winter

Large parking lot for small building, plus on street parking

small town with limited choices, but select places are very good

I have always had a good experience with their computer labs. They have a lot of options to get your school work done
College Senior 2013-07-02T18:39:48Z
They have one computer lab (approx. 5 computers) I have only used one time so far considering I have not "officially" started college until 9/9/13. From my experience that one time it seems overall nice, fast, and reliable.
College Senior 2013-07-02T18:37:12Z
I have not "officially" started college, I start 9/9/13. So far it looks like it is a great place to learn. Everyone seems really nice, and there is always someone to help answer whatever questions you may have.

While there is a large white population here, there is a fair amount of diversity. There are many older students as well as blacks, Asians, Hispanics, and women.

Guys & Girls:
The people here are all very nice and helpful. I have made friends quickly and have received and given help when needed. This is a small town, but there are people from all over the world attending school here.

Klamath Falls is a very small town. There is a wide variety of restaurants, but nothing compared to a large city like New York or San Francisco.

The entire process was smooth and handled well. The financial aid representative, Jake was very responsive via email, he always responded the same day. I still email him when I have a school finance question.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
