OIT attracts a large array of all different races and religious backgrounds. The school does not discriminate and nor do the students there.

While there is a large white population here, there is a fair amount of diversity. There are many older students as well as blacks, Asians, Hispanics, and women.

This is, perhaps, less accurate outside of my program, but there is plenty of diversity here at Oregon Tech - racial and cultural. I'll go to a class where my teacher is from Russia, the students from Hawaii, and the aide from Korea. It is, in a word, perfect. Everyone gets a chance to see something new.

Diverse Backgrounds Both Age and Race – There is quite a diverse range of students at OIT from both age and racial backgrounds. For the most part OIT is concentrated around technical careers and certainly within the medical field for the most part. People on campus are quite friendly and the staff is committed to each students education.

Very Ethincally Diverse – The school itself is one of two schools on the western seaboard to offer the medical imaging programs, so there are students from just about every race, economic, political and sexual background. The students and staff seem to be very accepting of everyone.
