Plenty Apartment Available

Otis suck housing wise just for the sheer fact that once you finish your first year you HAVE to go find your own place to live or commute. Luckily there are plenty of apartment near by. There is an apartment complex called Park West literally right across the street from Otis which is great for students with out a car. Though it is not the cheapest apartments, its affordable. You can also live in Playa Del Oro which is where the dorms are located, you obviously just get an apartment not with the school. Playa is more expensive but it is a reallllly nice place to stay. It is also just a 5-10min walk away from Otis. There are other apartments that are cheaper than the above but you would need a car.

Campus Dining at Otis College of Art & Design

Good, but Over Priced

The dinning at Otis is very interesting. There is no food plan and the cafeteria is open from about 7:30 am- 10pm. It's run by a small business that consists of two sets of brothers (working the cash register and two cooking). They give fast service, but can sometimes be unfair. The brothers working at the register are Korean and give free food to almost all the Koreans at our school (47% koreans....). If they do not like you (for no apparent reason at all) then they will charge you extra. If you are kind to them and not korean then they will just charge you the normal price. My friends and I both agree that the food there is very good, but over priced.

None needed. The dorms are a 5min walking distance away and the school is over all really small.
