Athletics at Ottawa University

Small School Big Sports

Compared to how many students go to our school, there are many athletes. As a freshman I could tell that the port teams were quite separated before, but it is getting better. Hanging out with people from a different sport is becoming more accepted. I believe that the athletics is the main part of our school, which I like, but if you don't play a sport it might be a little frustrating. Also, there is always a competition between each team of who can do better in league! That makes it pretty competitive.

Scholarships at Ottawa University

Good but Expensive

There are lots of opportunities to get scholarships, but then again the cost of going to the school is very expensive. It is a private school, so I knew this going into it, but I'm not sure if I can afford to continue the whole time, and I love my soccer team soI don't want to go, but I also have to be smart about the money. Academic opportunities are always there, and sport scholarships, but the rest we have to figure it out.

Greek Life at Ottawa University

Not of Importance

Greek life is available on campus, but it does not consume the entire student body. Ironically, they are not cocky or ill mannered, and they seem to show everyone a good time.
