The computer labs are mostly crowded in between classes. The computers are up to date and easy to use, but waiting for your papers is a hassle. Every student can print up to 210 pages for free every semester. There are only a few printers for students, so it takes 15 minutes to receive your papers sometimes. One should probably invest in a printer if one can. The assistants in the lab are always willing to lend a hand if one needs assistance. Students should definitely have their own computers; then, they can bring their laptops to classes and takes notes.
If a person has persistent trouble with his or her computer, there's a "Do It Desk" where technicians can help out a student with their technical issues. It's also the place where people can get an Ethernet cord for free. Unlike John Street and Fulton, The Towers doesn't have Wi-Fi, so an Ethernet cord comes in handy, even though sometimes it's still hard to manage a connection in the dorms.
