I got a nice financial aid package, but I wish it was easier to understand as far as to where to go to finish things, and what you can do with the money and such.

Require too many loans and aren't very helpful. In debt.

While PLU gives a generous amount of financial aid, it is still usually not enough for people to get by on. With the rising cost of attendance there is a new level of difficulty every year because usually the financial aid does not rise with the cost of attendance. Therefore, there is usually a big enough gap to create a problem with affording to attend still. My advice is to find a financial aid officer who understands any situation you are in financially and talk to them regularly to figure any financial issues out. Also, by meeting with them regularly you can get an idea of how the next year would look financially and they can tell you what the best options are.

I received a good amount of academic scholarships but not enough for the increasing costs of over 40k for each year. It is still hard to pay for college even with the great scholarships they give out.

I received good financial aid. However we have little/no money and I'm still expected to pay 8k a year. Plus I'm receiving the same financial aid I did when tuition was 4k less. So I'm not sure why that didn't go up when tuition did.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
