There are lots of ways to participate in school athletics which is really great. I am currently on a school volleyball team.

Athletics are a big part of campus life at Pacific. Professors are very understanding when athletes have to miss classes for games and tournaments. However, football overshadows almost every other varsity sport and the football team is very weak. Sports teams that are more successful and stronger receive little to no attention from the school whereas football receives special meal plans and accommodations.

I have played Lacrosse every year I've been at Pacific and it has been a huge part of my college career. It is one of the reasons I chose Pacific and I am so thankful that we have the support of the school in our travel and performance.

Pacific is VERY into sports. Personally, I don't really care, but I know about all the events. I'm pretty sure our teams aren't great, but a huge amount of the student body is on some sort of sports team or intramural.

Depending on what you're looking for. Pacific is only a D3 school so don't expect to move from here to the NFL, but our football program is developing rapidly because the guys on the team work hard and support each-other. Various sports and activities are offered so this is a benefit. If a sport isn't offered and enough people are interested, it isn't difficult to start a club in the desired sport or activity. For example, a group of students started Rugby Club, and now they compete against actual teams instead of just other clubs.
