Undergraduate campus does a lot of recruiting from Hawaii.

The campus is fairly diverse. Everybody holds their own beliefs, religious and political, and almost everybody tolerates everybody else's differences. It's a very friendly and accepting atmosphere.

There are many religions, political stances and sexual orientation. There tend to be a lot of people from Hawaii because there is a program for them at Pacific, and caucasians also make up a large amount of the student population. However you will find a variety of different races here. It's a great place to learn about different cultures and beliefs, and can open your eyes to a variety of new views on life.

The majority of the student population is Caucasian, with Hawaiian being the second largest population here. There are other nationalities mixed in, but we definitely aren't the most diverse college on the west coast.

For being a school in Oregon, I feel as if Pacific does a decent job at trying to be diverse. 25% of our population is from Hawaii, which brings about a unique culture. We have the largest Lua'u on the mainland! Pacific also has a very good relationship with international programs, with a bunch of students coming from all over the world. We have a large number of Japanese and Saudi Arabian students who are enrolled in the University's English Language program, as well as general bachelor degree programs.
