The tuition of Pasadena City College is reasonable and affordable. However, because Pasadena is a community college and most students are from Pasadena, international and out-of-state students’ tuition is expensive. On the other hand, Pasadena offers a variety of options for scholarships and financial aid. Students can get financial aid information at the Financial Aid Office or on the Pasadena City College website.
It is always recommended that students apply for financial aid ahead of time. Besides the application for financial aid on the FAFSA website, Pasadena also requests the completion of several documents before a student can be approved. The first time around, the experience might be intimidating, so an enrollment counselor and financial aid official are available to assist students and take them through the process step by step.
