Paul Mitchell has a 97% pass rate on the boards at the end of your school year and a very high rate of students becoming professionals soon after their graduation date. The school helps to ensure all students learn everything needed to find a job after they finish school, and there is a resource center on campus that will help find careers for any student as long as they need help after graduation.

At Paul Mitchell there are not online courses, however I did go to American River Community College and took an online Anthropology class. I was nervous to take an online course and once I started I undersrood why; it was very difficult to keep up with the work online and learn all the information. I did not like taking online classes and I will try avoid them in the future.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The eduction I will receive will hopefully help me earn my degree in Cosmetology, and is well worth the money. I learn all everything to pass my boards in a whole year and the school looks like they put a lot of time and effort into helping the students achieve their goals. I was not approved for financial aid which is not the greatest because my total cost of tuition and books/supplies is over 19k. However, I do think that at the end of this year it will all be worth it because the school is very helpful and determined to have all their students pass boards and become a professional in the Cosmetology world.

RIP OFF – Paul Mitchell the school Sacramento is more interested in your money than teaching you. It seems as though everything they offer at that school is extra money that usually goes towards a fundraiser. I am already paying around 20,000 dollars to attend this freaking school everything they teach should be already included. For example- a recent 'guest artist' was a cutting class and only the students that chose to pay 5 $ for this class were to attend. I know its only 5 bucks but come on...$20,000!?!?!? and i have to keep paying to get more educated... no. I'd really really like to know where my tuition money is going.
After core you will not learn anything for the next 4 months.
There are not enough teachers for all the students , and usually the teachers seem annoyed if you ask them to teach you something that you have not learned (but you are required to do because you have to complete it for your worksheet.) Oh, and the Be Nice culture? Yeah right, most the teachers and staff are so rude and snotty and don't seem to realize that they are there for you. The dean, the student advisor, and most the learning leaders will only 'Be Nice' if you kiss their butts- which frankly I am not interested in doing. I've noticed that the only students that do not completely hate this school are the ones that choose to give into the pathetic butt kissing ways.
They don't restock their supplies EVER. This is especially annoying when you are working on a client and you run out of the color you are using on them and have to switch to using something else (yeah its happened before.)
With clients, it takes about twice the time it should take to just give a simple haircut. Learning leaders are usually gossiping with students or teasing their hair in the mirror when you really need them. Not only that but if its a color or lightening appointment I don't trust most of the teachers to ask them to get the appointment started and show me what to do, I shouldn't feel like I know more than they do about hair.
If you are planning on going to a Paul Mitchell school, good god don't do it. Go to a cheap school and get treated exactly the same or maybe better than they treat you here and get the same learning experience (or better) than paul mitchell. There is so much more I can write about this school, but I'll stop now. Basically all you are really paying for is that brand name on your resume. Its a waste of money, a scam, and if i could go back to a year ago and change my decision on going here I 100% would.

Paul Mitchell Knows How to Keep Me Happy – Paul Mitchell really understands its students. It had so many different class schedules that can fit anyone's schedule. I love the energy this school has, everyone here is always so joyful and doesn't let anything bring them down. It's like problems are dropped at the door and we are all ready to work and learn. I love Paul Mitchell.
