Many computers around campus. Although there is no wifi inside the rooms of some sections of the dormitories

It can be very cold at times in this area. It rains a lot too

New buildings were built for additional housing recently. Very clean and nice with a lot of room

This school is very diverse. Interesting people with different cultures and backgrounds Very rewarding experience to know other people and being exposed to the multiculturalism circulating around this campus.

school isnt meant for a nightlife. Study hard now and play later.

Guys & Girls:
Anywhere you go can be exotic or different if you give it the chance. Guys and girls differ everywhere.

No nightlife that I know of. I don't live on campus though, so who knows, there might be?

Health & Safety:
I have always felt safe on PSUB's campus. It is a small, beautiful, safe place to be.

I don't live on campus but from what I hear, there is no party night life. Which is not a big deal to me.

Variety is great, you can either get a town house, apartments, or some designated condos that work with the university. Pricing is usually pretty fair and the quality is pretty nice.
College Sophomore 2013-07-23T19:51:55Z
They only have academic scholarships for incoming freshman! Pretty much nothing else, you have to look to outside sources!

Parking is great at school! It is free to park and leave your car at school. You just need to obtain a parking permit by registering your vehicle information with the campus police department. Otherwise, there is almost ALWAYS and open spot, it's a pretty big parking area. However, sometimes you will have to end up parking pretty far away from your dorms, due to it being crowded.

Drug scene at school is not that big of an activity. Sure, students will smoke outside every here and then. However, it all depends on the people that you hang out with, and what you want to get out of your high school experience. Drinking is always a much more popular activity.

Penn State as a whole is a "dry" campus, so if alcohol is found in the dorms, etc. it will be punished and the alcohol or drug paraphernalia will be taken. People in education majors found partying or abusing alcohol or drugs will be forced out of their major. Other than that, many students participate in drinking, but I do not get the sense that peer pressure is a big part of our campus.

There are several different races and religions at Penn State Berks, and many people with differing political beliefs and sexual orientation. I don't feel as if any one group is singled out against to a great extent. That being said, I the campus environment is constantly changing due to many people transferring to Main Campus after two years, and it is difficult to keep track of every group coming through.

I am a commuter so I dont know anything about the housing
College Senior 2013-06-29T18:51:30Z
If you don't have a car you are pretty much out of luck.
College Senior 2013-06-29T18:50:11Z
While many like the idea of a small school, it has its drawbacks. Some professors have favorites, and those who live in the dorms tend to stick together, causing the commuters to feel left out even though it is mostly a commuter campus. Myself and most people I know just go to and from class and then go home. There is not really a college feel. It is good for getting a good education but that is about it.

Parking on campus is really competitive but not unbearable. There are a lot of parking lots on campus. But some of them are not near classrooms.
College Sophomore 2013-05-20T22:18:18Z
The off campus housing consists of townhouses, apartments and boarder houses. The townhouses and apartments are a bit expensive if you want to live alone however with roommates it is pretty reasonable. The townhouses come completely furnished with flat screen tv's, pool table, kitchen appliances etc.

Great computers, IT desk offers dell laptops or mac's.
College Junior 2013-05-13T23:10:29Z
Seven Oaks has a decent amount of housing for students off-campus, but it's hard to get an apartment and find roommates. The 525 apartments are cheap and not good.

Average. Theres good sandwiches, sushi Monday's, and salad bar.
College Sophomore 2013-05-10T15:23:04Z
Not much going on. Quiet, quaint, and small campus.

Penn State Berks tries very hard to have movies, games, and parties for their students, which are generally free or very low cost.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
