Brandywine is a great school for students who want the "university" experience at a smaller school with individualized attention. There are fewer than 2,000 students on campus, so the professors are able to give more personal attention to students, and it is not very hard to get any extra help from a professor if necessary. There is also a Learning Center and a Writing Center for additional assistance. The campus is about the size of a community college, but it is a Penn State campus that offers many of the same things as University Park, but on a smaller scale.

The school pride is very much alive on and around campus, and everyone takes pride in the University. As a great school to start out with, Brandywine is part of the Penn State 2+2 program and is helpful for those who do not really know what they intend to major in for their first two years. The University is very nice, and the campus is beautiful. In terms of resources, the technology on campus is wonderful, with computers updated frequently. Even though it's a commuter campus, Brandywine has many programs that get students involved; there are also many opportunities for students to do things like study abroad. All in all, everyone on campus is generally cheerful and happy to be there.
